This oh so very handsome puppy's name is Thor, he is 4 1/2 months young.
He is a Doberman and always full of energy. You may be wondering what is on his ears and you may not know if you don't have much experience with guard dogs.
My father, Chris, and I are training Thor to be a guard dog at a property we just bought in Buckeye. To make Thor look "tough", my father got his ears trimmed down, so he can look "meaner," as my Dad would say. I am about 6'2'' and Thor is a little more than half of my size. He is really big for being so young. I think that's why I love him so much!
Above is a picture of Thor before we chopped his ears off, around the time when he was about 3 months young. Thor is a beautiful puppy to have around the house, he is young and silly. And since he has so much energy, he is also a great running partner. He is a great distraction from my school work but overall a perfect friend. He doesn't know his size yet so he is a bully to our other dog who is a dachshund ( about 1/10 of Thor's size ). When Thor wants to play with Baby, the dachshund, he gets his paw (which is about the size of my palm) and slams her head down to the floor. My Mom thinks it's really mean and doesn't like Thor. Although sometimes I do feel bad, I find it to be hilarious.
He'll learn eventually, right?
